Receive an in-depth review and critique of your artwork and website presentation from three gallerists.
Receive reactions and suggestions on the direction of your artwork,
feedback on your artist portfolio website, and learn of potential exhibition opportunities.
Portfolio Reviews provide artists with a high level of professional criticism of artists' work and it’s presentation,
as well as their portfolio website.
The Reviewers can help lead artists in the right direction in terms of career advancement and development,
and help guide artists in marketing their artwork to the appropriate target markets.
Each artist will receive three sequential 15-minute one-on-one portfolio reviews with gallery professionals.
Reviewers will be on-line from 6:00PM to 9:15PM PT. Each artist must register on-line in advance
for a 45 minute time-slot for the three 15-minute sessions.

Sally Cote with Ruby Living Design, San Francisco
Sally Cote is the art curator for Ruby Living Design in San Francisco, Mill Valley, and Menlo Park. Sally has a BA from UCLA in Ethnic Arts, focusing on art history. She was the director of two art galleries in San Francisco in the 1980’s before becoming an art consultant, assisting residential clients and corporations in purchasing art for their collections. Sally began curating art for Ruby Living Designs for their Bay Area showrooms in 2007, with the goal of enhancing space with harmonious works of art. https://www.rubyliving.com |
Olivia Ongpin with Luna Rienne Gallery, San Francisco
Olivia Ongpin is the co-founder of Fabric8 and Luna Rienne Gallery, a San Francisco-based gallery and boutique that has worked with hundreds of independent artists and designers since its inception as an online business in 1995. Now located in the Mission District, fabric8 exhibits traditional gallery shows as well as features a constantly-rotating collection of small, affordable works. Olivia represents artists and also offers small business consulting services. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in American Studies. Ruth Santee with Transmission Gallery, Oakland
Ruth Santee is the co-director/owner of Transmission Gallery in Oakland, CA. She has been an advocate for the arts for 30 years as a California-based gallerist, curator, and tenured professor. She has curated exhibits for many community, academic and gallery venues. Ruth received a BFA from the College of Santa Fe and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is a recipient of a Cadogan Fellowship Award from the San Francisco Foundation and a recipient of a San Francisco Art Commission award. Andrea Schwartz graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1977. Her background as an artist has assisted in her understanding of the perspectives and idiosyncrasies of the art world. Lucy Spencer with Slate Contemporary Gallery
Lucy Spencer is the Gallery Manager at Slate Contemporary Gallery in Oakland, CA. Lucy attended Parsons The New School in New York, NY where she graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts and an emphasis in business administration. After graduation, Lucy spent another four years in New York City, where she deeply engaged in the arts community by honing her own art practice and working across all aspects of the industry. She focused on exhibition planning, and event production as Gallery Manager at ABXY Gallery on the Lower East Side, working with Goldman Sachs and The United Nations. Lucy also worked in art fair production at a variety of art fairs including SPRING//BREAK and ArtNY focusing on VIP Client Relations. Ashley L. Voss with Voss Gallery, San Francisco
Ashley L. Voss is a gallerist and arts advocate based in San Francisco, CA. She is the owner/director of Voss Gallery, an art gallery dedicated to showcasing New Contemporary work by emerging and mid-career artists in both solo and thematically organized group shows. Her writing has been published in Pelican Bomb and Art Practical. Most recently, Ashley worked as the Gallery Manager for Art Attack SF and Curatorial & Communications Manager for PARSE NOLA. She has held additional positions at a number of arts organizations, including Q Artists Cooperative and The Riverfront Arts Center in Stevens Point, WI; and Anton Haardt Gallery, The Front, and the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, LA. Note that sometimes a gallerist may have to cancel their participation at short notice due to unforseen circumstances such as a family emergency or health reasons. A replacement gallerist will fill in their place and artists will be notified if a change will have to be made.
