Receive an in-depth review and critique of your artwork and website presentation from three gallerists.
Receive reactions and suggestions on the direction of your artwork,
feedback on your artist portfolio website, and learn of potential exhibition opportunities.
Portfolio Reviews provide artists with a high level of professional criticism of artists' work and it’s presentation.
The Reviewers can help lead artists in the right direction in terms of career advancement and development,
and help guide artists in marketing their artwork to the appropriate target markets.
Each artist will receive three sequential 15-minute one-on-one portfolio reviews with gallery professionals.
Reviewers will be on-line from 6:00PM to 8:30PM PT. Each artist must register on-line in advance
for a 45 minute time-slot for the three 15-minute sessions.

Philip Bewley is a Curator and Art Advisor with over twenty-five years of experience in the curation of fine art and in the production of exhibitions. Philip was previously DZINE Gallery’s Director and Curator, producing exhibitions featuring Bay Area artists. Philip was previously the Gallery Director for Therien & Co, Inc.; Curator for the Oliver Hawke Gallery; and the Curator for the loan exhibit at the San Francisco Fall Show. Heather Marx is a community-minded arts professional with over 25 years experience curating, promoting, and exhibiting visual and digital art by emerging, mid-career and established U.S. and international artists. Donna Napper, Slate Contemporary Gallery, Oakland, CA
Donna Napper is a Senior Art Consultant for Slate Art Consulting. Donna’s career in the field of contemporary art combines more than twenty years in both southern and northern California, working as a gallery owner, exhibition curator, and art consultant. She founded and directed her own art gallery in Los Angeles for eight years, before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as the Curator and Director of Public Programs for the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art. More recently, Donna has focused on art advisory projects, placing art in corporate collections for clients in health care, real estate development, legal, banking, and information technology industries. Danny Sanchez with Themes+Projects Gallery, San Francisco
Danny Sanchez is the associate director at Themes+Projects Gallery (formally Modernbook gallery.) Since 2006, he has helped to cultivate the fine art careers of the gallery’s emerging talent on topics such as editing and sequencing, strategic analysis of a body of work for the current market place, pricing and editioning, etc. Outside the gallery, he has had the pleasure to be a reviewer for PhotoAlliance, Review Santa Fe, and Medium: A Festival for Photography; serve as a juror for Photolucida’s Critical Mass; and participate as a panelist for San Francisco Artist Network. Ashley L. Voss with Voss Gallery, San Francisco
Ashley L. Voss is a gallerist and arts advocate based in San Francisco, CA. She is the owner/director of Voss Gallery, an art gallery dedicated to showcasing New Contemporary work by emerging and mid-career artists in both solo and thematically organized group shows. Her writing has been published in Pelican Bomb and Art Practical. Most recently, Ashley worked as the Gallery Manager for Art Attack SF and Curatorial & Communications Manager for PARSE NOLA. Note that sometimes a gallerist may have to cancel their participation at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances such as a family emergency or health reasons. A replacement gallerist will fill in their place and artists will be notified if a change will have to be made.
