Stephen C. Wagner, Professional Development Educator
Stephen C. Wagner has studied art since the age of six, including workshops at the Witte Museum, Trinity University, and private study, all in his hometown of San Antonio, TX. During his early years, Stephen showed his work in many venues, including juried shows, art fairs, coffeehouses, and art galleries. He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington in painting and graphic communication. Stephen has exhibited and sold his art in galleries in London, Chicago, Dallas, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, San Diego, Seattle, New Orleans, Palm Springs, Sun Valley, and Kauai. His artwork is included in the permanent collections of the Riverside Art Museum and the Museum of the Living Artist, and in the corporate collections of Johnson & Johnson and Kaiser Permanente. www.sfartistnetwork.org

Stephen encourages other artists to commit to their artwork and take the steps necessary to become more successful through his guest speaking on professional development for artists at art organizations throughout California. His lectures offer artists insight to jump-start their artist career, obtain clear focus on their intention for their artwork, create a strategic plan for their artist career, compile an impressive artist packet, and master the business of art. Stephen also provides one-on-one consultations with artists to develop strategies, goals, and actions plans.
Stephen runs the Studio Fine Artist Network where he coordinates program for the professional development for artists. He is also the managing partner at Arc Gallery & Studios in San Francisco, featuring ten renovated artist studios, a 1,000 sq. ft. art gallery, two smaller galleries and an art education center. www.arc-sf.com
